I2E has over 20 years of rehabiliting youth through Olympic level athetes and specializes in bringing an athlete from their current injured state to a greater strength and performance level than before they were injured.

Our mission at Fit 2 Excel has been to bring our expertise to the community in order to help athletes grow to their potential. As you know, our staff consists of Certified Athletic Trainers, NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Coaches and a Sport Psychology Consultant. Combined we have over 50 years of experience in which we have had the privilege of working with athletes of all levels, from recreational youth athletes to Olympic medalists.

Deep Tissue/Swedish Massage

A deep tissue massage is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscle and the connective tissue or fascia. This type of massage focuses on the muscles located below the surface of the top muscles. Deep tissue massage is often recommended for individuals who experience consistent pain, are involved in heavy physical activity (such as athletes), and patients who have sustained physical injury. Swedish massage involves movements up and down the muscle groups that warm up and work the muscle tissue releasing tension and breaking up "knots", or adhered tissue, called adhesions. Swedish massage promotes relaxation, eases muscle tension and creates other health benefits.

Fit 2 Excel was developed to meet the overwhelming needs of the community for functional based, whole body, strength and conditioning. Our staff is trained to give you a challenging class every day! We use a functional fitness model as the cornerstone of all our fitness classes. Every session will include a component of injury prevention, strengthening and cardiovascular fitness. Classes are designed to be challenging, fun and give you a total mind and body workout!

Sport Psychology involves preparing the mind of an athlete, just as thoroughly as one prepares the body. Sport Psychology is designed to teach mental skills to improve concentration, self talk, visualization, goal setting, self confidence, relaxation, emotional control, mental preparation strategies and reduce performance anxiety.
